Dr. Fariba Matinfar, DDS

Periodontist

Dr. Fariba Matinfar grew up in Los Angeles, California, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She continued her journey and obtained a Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1996. She obtained a specialty certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontology from UCLA School of Dentistry Dental Medicine in 1999. In 2001, she pursued post-graduate training and completed a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry.

Dr. Arya Tehrany, DDS, MS

Endodontist

Dr. Arya Tehrany grew up in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he majored in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics. He continued on to receive his Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2006. From there he went on to the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) where he completed his advanced specialty training in the field of Endodontics, while simultaneously also obtaining a Masters of Science (MS) in the field of Endodontics in 2009. Upon completing his specialty training, Dr. Tehrany moved back to California and has been serving patients as an Endodontist in the Greater Los Angeles Community.

Dr. Christine Shehata, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Christine Shehata is a highly respected dentist that has a proven record of delivering quality care to patients from all walks of life. She enjoys brightening a patient’s life through their smile.

Dr. Shehata completed her dental training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, earning her degree with distinction. Known as one of the most coveted and intense programs around the country, her education at UCLA gave her the opportunity to provide dental care to those who may not have access to care otherwise. She also used this opportunity to learn and see first-hand how oral health can affect the whole body. During her time at UCLA, Dr. Shehata received the Quintessence Award for Excellence in Restorative Dentistry, the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award, and the Dean’s Commendation.

After earning her degree, Dr. Shehata broadened her patient care experience by completing a general practice residency program (GPR) at the Los Angeles County, Department of Health Services, Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, CA. In this setting, Dr. Shehata was able to gain additional post-graduate experience in all dental subspecialties and phases. Dr. Shehata’s extensive dental scope encompasses training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and community-based healthcare.

She is devoted to ensuring the continued oral health of all her patients and takes a thorough and precise approach to the dental care she provides. The key is in the lasting relationships she develops and in helping people of all ages improve their health. She works tirelessly to ensure that every person has a low-stress experience and that they receive the best, most comprehensive care possible.

When not at work in the office or keeping up to date with the newest advances in the field with continuing education courses, Dr. Shehata loves to spend time with her family, cooking, traveling, and teaching Sunday School.
